The right frame can make or break a piece of art. That's where our expertise comes in. We have the vision and the experience to extrapolate what a finished piece will look like from the matt and frame samples. We offer an intimate, personalized service with the sole goal of finding the best frame for your artwork.

There is no single 'right' frame choice for any piece of art. There are many options and we will be there to walk you through them. You may be after a clean, contemporary look or perhaps something more rustic, for your cottage. Then again you may be going for a classic feel. We have the frames for a full range of styles and the design aesthetic to advise you on the nuances within each style and how that will best showcase your artwork.

Integrating with Your Décor

We have the knowledge, imagination and skill to recommend the right style for you based not only on the artwork but also on your description of the room where it will eventually be displayed. We'll ask you about the colour scheme, the lighting, the ceiling height, all those important details, and then offer a selection of frames that we know will work for your unique environment. We are also happy to work with your designer.

Decorating Around Your Art

It's not uncommon to decorate a room around a beloved piece of artwork. We are happy to make recommendations on paint colours and lighting choices.

We also provide a hanging service and will come to your house and ensure that your art is professionally installed.

Purchasing Artwork at the Framing Place & Gallery

We have a selection of original art available for purchase at the Framing Place & Gallery (and also at The Algonquin Art Centre).
