Framing Place and GalleryCUSTOM FRAMING, LASTING QUALITY

What sets apart the custom framing we provide at The Framing Place & Gallery are the materials we use - and the materials we don't use. We do not use cardboard. We do not use acidic paper products and we never use masking tape.

Quality Materials & Techniques

What we do takes longer, requires more expertise and higher quality materials. We think it is worth it. Not only does the finished artwork look better but it also lasts longer.

We use cotton and acid-free matting. Our three types of glass have 98% U.V protection and we use archival mounting methods
.

Excellent Craftsmanship

The frames we use come from high-end distributors who pride themselves on the quality of their products. Many of our frames come from Larson Juhl (www.larsonjuhl.com), a company which designs, manufactures and distributes fine custom frames of enduring style and superior craftsmanship. Larson-Juhl has a history of making custom frames for over 100 years. We also carry beautiful frames from Roma Moulding (www.romamoulding.com) based in Italy and renowned for their craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Eco-Friendly Frames

We conscientiously choose our frames and framing supplies from companies that have a commitment to the environment. Larson Juhl is actively involved in responsible lumber management - not only in the responsible way they harvest trees but also in the leadership role they take in forest restoration. We make every effort to purchase frames made from sustainable forest products and use matting that is FSC certified.

For our customers who are trying to reduce their global footprint by shopping local - we offer a line of products that does not have to be imported from outside of Canada.
